DIRECT / INDIRECT LIGHT DISTRIBUTION
GATICA’s patent-pending light distribution control system offers the ultimate in flexibility when specifying the ratio of direct to indirect light distribution in a specific environment.
Your preferred light distribution is selected when ordering the GATICA panel (available in suspended only) and it is shipped preset from the factory (per the direct/indirect ratio specification selected from the Ordering Grid).
- GATICA direct/indirect LED panels are field-adjustable. Our patent-pending light distribution control system is easily accessible and is reset using a rotary dial that can be adjusted as needed to select any of the other preset distributions.
- Variable direct/indirect distribution selection via a 0-10v wall control. When ordering pre-set distribution "0", GATICA panels are connected to a 0-10v controller and are field adjusted for direct/indirect light distribution by moving the dimmer control up or down throughout the distribution ratios. Additionally, these panels can be dimmed via the use of a separate dimmer/control.
- Regardless of distribution, all panels maintain the same wattage consumption and maintain full dimmability. Note: Direct and Indirect distributions dim together and are not compatible with programmable white options.
GATICA direct illumination is achieved through state-of-the-art optimized light guide technology to create an even light output and is optimized using highly efficient reflector and diffuser films. Providing an excellent wide and even output, GATICA indirect light distribution is achieved through 2 rows of linear LEDs on either side of the suspended panel; these uplight LEDs are unobtrusively concealed in a recessed channel for a clean look when viewed from below or the side.
